Monograms

I love monograms and feel that one can never have to many monogrammed things.

When I saw that Southern Living Preppy Style  was having a giveaway for a monogrammed plate from Pink Wasabi Inc., I entered as fast as my hands could type.  

If I was lucky enough to be the winner, I thought I would select a pattern for everyday that I could put the kiddies snacks on after they get home from school, like these:

But then I spotted these next two patterns and instantly knew it would be one of these.

I've been putting together a "Bag Full Of Sunshine" for a friend battling breast cancer.  I have most of the things bought and have begun assembling them in a yellow gift bag.  Today I found the perfect finishing touch for my bag at 6th Street Design School.  She put together a "little sunshine" for a friend.

Impromptu Fall Party

We decided to have a little impromptu get together for my daughter's friends after their homecoming dance.  I did a quick run to the grocery store and picked up a few goodies.  With some cellophane bags and assorted ribbons, I did some quick wrapping to make them festive.  

I love pretty packaging....much more festive.

So glad I recently purchased the paper straws because they fit perfectly in the apothecary jar.

Happy Fall

While on my morning walk in the neighborhood, I saw this adorable fall planter arrangement and instantly fell in love.  It's so unusual and creative.  I love how she used the white and green pumpkins and various greenery.
